A sport where millimeters can be the difference between success and failure, curling continues to be one of the most-watched events at the Winter Olympics. And at Milano Cortina 2026, there will be no shortage of action with three competitions spanning almost three weeks.
In the men’s event, reigning champions Sweden will start as the favorites but they will expect strong competition from traditional powerhouses Great Britain and Canada. Team GB have been particularly strong of late, winning two of the last three world championships, a European title and six Grand Slam of Curling titles.
Britain will also be eying gold in the women’s event, where they are the defending champions. However, they will expect a tough challenge as the field looks stacked. Canada arrive as the reigning world champions. While Sweden, Switzerland and South Korea are also considered contenders for the title.
